Terms of Service
The agreement
These terms apply between you and EXPERTMEDIZIN BEDARF LIMITED, Suite C, Level 7, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong ("we"). By creating an account or playing Heroes MMO you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
The game is an alpha
Heroes MMO is in an alpha web playtest. Features, balance and content change often. Servers can be down, and we may reset progress, items or accounts, including without notice where needed.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. In the EEA and the UK, players under 16 need the agreement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and password. Keep them private. We may not be able to restore an account if you lose your password, because we do not require an email address. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or traded.
Fair play
- Do not cheat, use bots or macros, or exploit bugs. Report them instead.
- Do not harass, threaten or insult others, and do not post hateful, sexual or illegal content.
- Do not spam, advertise, or impersonate staff or other people.
- Do not trade accounts, items or gold for real money.
- Do not attack the service, or copy, reverse engineer or resell any part of it.
Moderation
We can warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts, remove names and content, and undo progress gained unfairly. Serious breaches can lead to a ban without warning.
Virtual items
Gold, gems, items and other in-game content are licensed to you for use in the game. You do not own them, and they have no cash value. Heroes MMO is currently free. If we offer paid content later, extra terms will apply and will be shown before you buy.
Computer-controlled characters
The game includes characters run by software. Some of them behave like other players.
Your content
You keep your rights in what you write. You allow us to show, store and moderate hero names, guild names and chat messages as needed to run the game.
Our content
The game, its name, art, music and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected. You may share screenshots and videos of the game for non-commercial purposes.
No warranty
We provide the game as it is and as available, and we do not promise that it is free of errors or always online. This does not affect rights you have under mandatory law.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of progress or virtual items. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health.
Ending your use
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account at xyo(at)heroesmmo.com. We can end or change the service, or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We show the date at the top and announce important changes. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
Law
The law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country you live in and can use its courts.
