The last safe place between the stone rings. Quest givers, the shop and every portal start here.

Waterfall Gorge

Slimes, bats and goblins on sunny cliffs, and your first boss waiting in the Root Cave behind them.

Monsters: Rot Slime, Forest Goblin, Rot Bat, Goblin Brute.

The Cave

Beneath the Rootheart the forest ends. A long dungeon for levels 1 to 20, with Seer Nyra and a pile of quests.

Monsters: Plague Fly, Spike Mine, Candle Skull, Thornhusk, Stray, The Damned, Ash Bride, Bloater, Soot Imp, Ember Bearer, Scout Head, Ancient One, Ember Skull, Coldburner, Frost Skull, Abyss Eye.

The First Winter

Beat Morgrath and the left portal opens. Frozen forests, reindeer and the hardest fights up to level 30.

Monsters: Ice Slime, Frost Wolf, Rime Goblin, Ice Guard, Snow Spirit, Greyfrost Stag.
